Are You Fired Up About America? Notify Nothing Like Honesty

One day I was tuning up and down the radio dial as I drove along the Interstate. From time to time, I landed on the talk show callers who were simply appalled at the direction America is going.

They were frustrated that so many important issues were either being ignored or glossed over by federal, state and local government. It was clear that many people were very interested, but felt powerless to do anything.

At that moment I decided to design some t-shirt with patriotic messages and test them for sale at public events. Boy it worked! Generally we have created our tent and sell dozens of shirts for people who thank us left and right to put their feelings into words on a t-shirt you can wear and be proud.

And this brings us to a point even more important. The Americans have a First Amendment right to speak their minds. Is not the Fifth Amendment or the Thirteenth Amendment - the first and perhaps most important.

But while speaking your mind is clearly the basis of what it means to be Americans, the vast majority of us feel we can not make a difference. Therefore, do not even try.

Again and again I heard from people who are laid off about important issues, but keep their thoughts to themselves. Often mistakenly feel you are the only one who feels that way.

After wearing one of my shirts soon see the end of our tees in order to stem the tide of division and empower those who are willing to STAND.

Instead of going their separate driveway, focusing on being politically correct, people enthusiastically sharing ideas, passions, and concerns. And guess what, folks? This is where the real solutions come.

We must toil in our lives, and we hope all the important issues for the government. There are a lot of good people in government, but not all good ideas. And government, by its nature, can not solve problems without the help of its citizens.

So, talk! Write a letter to the editor, call a radio talk show, presented a website, and tell others what you think. And, most importantly calling elected to let them know that you are alive and well. You'll feel better. You will have more impact. And you will live the life of a true American patriot.

The death penalty issue

There are some controversial issues as between the American government and population, such as the death penalty. Few topics spark heated debates and issues are people so clearly on one side of the argument or the other. The death penalty is certainly famous for thinkers on both sides of the fence, with a few people riding the gray area in between.

Many Americans are for the death penalty. In essence, they believe that there are some crimes so heinous criminals deserve nothing but death. People who choose to take the life of another through the assassination, for example, are criminals for which capital punishment should be in force. A drug dealer in dealing leads to death of people may also be considered a criminal first to suffer the death penalty. Americans who are pro-death penalty believe that those who take another's life should not be able to maintain its life. There are obviously exceptions for deaths that occur because of the war, self-defense, or killing of saying a person who abuses children. These are dead to justify not requiring the death penalty.

Other side of the debate on the death penalty are the Americans who do not believe that the death penalty should exist for many reasons. In general, these Americans believe it is inhumane to kill a murderess. They believe that a murderess has rights that must be protected by law. A huge site that many people care about the death penalty is surrounding our judicial system. Many Americans are asking how to ensure that the death penalty, only happens to those people who deserves his punishment and said that since there is no real way to make punishement infallible, the punishment should not exist.

Because of the injustices of the judicial system of our country, many Americans believe the death penalty should cease to exist. Raising questions as must be completed in line for what crimes deserve death penalty and crimes which do not? Who can say what crimes should be punishable as crimes and the death penalty should be allowed to keep their lives? Since there are no clear answers to these questions, many say that the death penalty can not legitimately exist. Or, for example, what happens if the justice system is wrong in their decision of a criminal suspect and condemns the innocent to suffer the death penalty, while the real criminal goes free? We can never be completely sure of the righteousness of our justice system, they say.

Another injustice of the death penalty system that many Americans see is that criminals often without sufficient means to defend themselves are left to die while other criminals with money and power are able to escape the punishment of the death penalty simply because they have the means to beat the system. How is the punishment, if not all criminals are given equal opportunity to present their case?

There are endless questions that plague people on both sides of the debate on the death penalty. The only thing for sure is that the issue is highly controversial and complicated for our nation to be discussed.

Joe Arpaio For President

Unless you live in Arizona there's a good chance you've never heard of Joe. He is a sheriff in Arizona. Has recently been re-elected to his position in Maricopa County. Because I think should be president? Because he is actually trying to make a difference. He does not care if it is acceptable to everyone, trying to please the good citizens of his county and punish the bad.

Joe is not your typical politician. Technically it is because a politician needs to be voted in his role but is not busy, always trying to please everyone and never do anything political. He makes decisions and stands by them.

Some things that Joe did the prisoners are paid for their meals. Cut porn movies and magazines from prison. He can only "G" rated films. He removed the weights from detainees. Reported chain gangs for both men and women. He tried taking out TV, but was ordered to put it back in jail because a Federal Court decision said it needed. So, put them back but only allows the Disney Channel and the Weather Channel. When asked why he allows the Weather Channel was his reasoning, so the prisoners know what the temperature will be the next day when you are working with The Chain Gang. Cut the coffee because it has no nutritional value.

These changes are excellent in my opinion. We must stop pampering criminals, because if there will never want to leave and always want to come back. We should stop allowing TV, Sony Playstation, porn movies, etc. ... Some of the above changes prompted some complaints by prisoners and the sheriff's response was: "This is not the Ritz / Carlton. If you do not like, do not come back."

As if these changes were not good enough get even better. Sheriff Joe has started his prison accommodation tent. About 2,000 prisoners live in a tent outside in the prison yard. During the summer months you can obviously get quite hot in the tent is that they are in Arizona. last summer have been reported temperatures up to 138 degrees in the tent. Prisoners claimed this was inhumane. The Sheriff's response was: "It 's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents too, and they have to wear full battle dress, but did not commit crimes, so shut your fucking mouth!"

Too often politicians are so worried about not winning enough votes never commit to an answer that will upset anyone. A perfect example is the fact that a federal judge took the decision that TV should be allowed in prisons. Perhaps prisons should be lined with books to help prisoners learn new skills and become more educated. In this way have higher chances of success beyond the prison walls. There's a good chance there is a lot of people in prisons across this country who can not read and write. But at least they have the right to TV, which should make things better.

We need more politicians like Joe Arpaio. We need more people who care about doing the right thing and spend their time working on doing things rather than throwing mud against the other side. A perfect example is the recent problem concerning high gas prices. President Bush has developed a plan, and an evil plan in my opinion, to solve the gas price "crisis". The Democrats are bad mouthing his plan, instead of standing together to develop a good plan.

Anyone who has read some of my other readers know my position on politics. I am not a Democrat or a Republican. I think it stinks for the country. I think they manipulated the system so badly that it will be the ruin of our country at some point in the future. It may not be in our lives, but they are the reason this country fails. Spend recklessly, they make laws that favor themselves and the companies that fund their campaigns, and very rarely do the right thing for their constituents.

As a farewell speech ask someone who is reading this do me a favor, keep an eye out for more people like Joe Arpaio and vote in their office. They will repair all that is wrong with our country at this time.

The Tsar's Secret

A perennial mystery that is now, at least partly solved thanks to forensic DNA testing is 80 years of mystery surrounding the fate of the Russian royal family.

In the summer of 1918, Russia was engaged in a civil war between the communist revolutionaries, called the Reds or Bolsheviks, and opponents argued that either the monarchy or some form of democratic government, the White Russians.

The foremost symbol of the old regime was the Tsar of Russia, Nicholas II and his family, who was forced to abdicate the throne after the revolution of February 1917. After the revolutionary Bolsheviks led by Vladimir Lenin seized power, they were going to put on trial the Tsar, and moved the entire Russian royal family to the town of Ekaterinburg on the slopes of the Ural Mountains. With the Tsar were his wife, Czarina Alexandra, four young daughters, the Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia, the tsar and his son and heir, 13 years, Alexei.

The Romanovs were imprisoned in a building with two floors appropriation by an engineer named Ipatiev rich. The royal family was kept on the top floor with their physician, Dr. Botkin, and three servants. Armed guards prevented them from leaving, and were confined to their rooms except for meals and short periods of exercise.

In the countryside around the house, the battle raged for Russia on. When White Russian forces were closing around Ekaterinburg, Bolsheviks feared free Tsar, a powerful figure in the White collection. This led the Bolsheviks who killed the czar and his entire family in the early morning hours of July 17, 1918.

For political reasons, the Bolshevik government in Moscow has decided not to publicly reveal the fate of the royal family. They admitted that the Tsar had been executed for crimes against the Russian people, but argued that the rest of the family had been removed for safety. Many people, including relatives of the royal family, believed these reports and held out hope that the Tsarina and her five children had survived. This started spreading rumors that had to last for more than half a century.

On July 25, 1918, the army entered White Ekaterinburg and rushed home Ipatiev, but could not find any trace of the Tsar. The Whites opened an investigation immediately, and appointed investigator Nikolai Sholokhov to lead it. He was only five months to complete the investigation before Ekaterinburg fell back to the Bolsheviks, but has published his findings in 1924 and concluded that all of Russia, plus their doctor and three servants, were conducted in a room small cellar, shot, bayoneted, then sprayed with acid to hide their identity before being thrown into an old mine shaft. However, the bodies were not.

After the civil war in Russia, many people have come forward in Europe, claiming to be members of the family of Tsar Nicholas. Most of the claimants to the Romanov legacy were immediately exposed as frauds, but was extremely convincing.

In 1920, an anonymous woman tried to commit suicide by jumping from a bridge into a canal in Berlin, Germany. She was rescued and was recovering in a clinic in a state of dazed and confused. At first, he had a complete loss of memory, but slowly began to recover. He said his name was Anna Anderson. However, one day, he saw a photo of the family of the tsar and became very excited. Soon she claimed to be one of the grand duchesses.

Claiming that his memory had recovered, told an extraordinary story of how she, like Anastasia, had survived the massacre of the Romanovs. According to her account, Anastasia survived the massacre, because one of his sisters away from his bullet. Although seriously wounded, he awoke during the night and was discovered by a soldier called Tchaikovsky smuggling her in Romania. There gave him a son, but the soldier was killed immediately, whereupon he fled to Berlin to try to find his relatives. Depressed about the lack of success, became desperate and attempted suicide.

In a court case that dragged on for 30 years, Anderson has tried to obtain legal support for its claim to be the heir to the Romanov dynasty. Some remaining Romanov family supported her, but most regarded it simply and extraordinarily clever impostor. Without conclusive scientific evidence such as fingerprints or dental records, both sides relied on evidence less clear.

Anderson has provided many convincing details about the life of the Romanov family in pre-revolutionary Russia, and she had scars on his body consistent with gun and bayonet wounds. Photo of Anastasia and Anderson, claiming great similarity, and experts have argued that Anderson's script writing matched that of Anastacia.

Experts say opposites Anderson said it was a Polish woman named Franzisca Schanzkowska who disappeared from a boarding house in Berlin shortly before Anderson was rescued from the canal. Photo of woman looked like Anderson and his gun and bayonet wounds were attributed to the alleged injury Schanzkowska had sustained from an explosion in a munitions factory.

The case ended in 1970 with the conclusion by the German court that the application of Anderson could not be conclusively substantiated, and Anderson moved to the United States where he died in 1984.

In 1989, the advent of glasnost brought the surprising news from the Soviet Union that the bodies of the Romanovs had actually been discovered in 1979 by a team led by amateur historian Alexander Avdonin and Geli Ryabov. Fearing reprisals repressive Soviet government had previously hidden information for a decade. In 1991, a modern forensic team was sent to examine the site. The scientists have concluded without doubt that the remains are those of the Romanovs, however, two bodies, those of Alexei and Grand Duchess, were missing.

To confirm the results, the Soviets invited several American forensic scientists, including Dr. William Maples of the University of Florida, to conduct their study. Have reached similar conclusions, but considers that the missing bodies were those of Alexei and Anastasia, not Marie. It is speculated that it was simply buried elsewhere, but the two remaining bodies were not found.

Anderson's statement to be Anastacia has been revived. In 1992, the Soviets conducted DNA decided to conduct DNA tests on the remains of the Romanovs. A relative of a woman's life disappeared Polish Schanzkowska, also provided a blood sample. Anderson's body was cremated in 1984, but surprisingly, a sample of tissue was still alive.

The test results were a severe disappointment to those who believed in Anderson's story. Tests showed that it was not related to the Romanovs, but Schanskowskas.

If you are anything like me, the smallest of decisions can quickly become material for the larger debate of your life. You can turn the smallest trifle of a problem in a huge mountain of a decision just sit and analyze too much.

Sounds familiar? Have you ever been burdened in an attempt to make decisions accordingly small and had little trouble maintaining perspective? I absolutely have. 'S so easy to make a decision as minors' what should I eat for breakfast? 'And turn it into a debate on both sides, which can last long beyond the normal breakfast time. We are beginning to discuss whether it should have a healthy balanced breakfast of toast and fruit or whole if you can indulge (just this once) in a less-healthy meal of packaged cakes and cappuccino. You have enough to eat healthy the day before for breakfast with sugar reward location-filled? Do you plan to eat better food for the rest of the day? These and other questions you can add unnecessary stress and debate for choice.

Those of us who are analytical by nature have an even harder time not turn everything into a debate in our heads. Take for example shopping. You can find a great sweater on sale for ten dollars, but there is also a cute sweater you are sure that you wear most. The cuter sweater, however, is forty dollars. What do you do? People like me start making mental lists the pros and cons on Each side of what has Become a great debate during the day. Not saved money, but loses the most beautiful sweater? Or splurge and take a few dollars away from another element that really need to buy? That a task can be to make choices like these, when we allow ourselves to do great issues of smaller ones.

Is there anything we can do to stop making ourselves debate every decision we make each day? I for one am tired of living this way. One thing is intentional about the choices you make, but it's another thing to overwork your brain with breakfast debates or new sweaters.

I think I have just tried and tried a piece of advice to give people whose biggest rival in every discussion is themself: stop it. When you feel that is a silly debate to be had in your head, just stop. Take a moment to address your thoughts and really consider the importance of this decision. Chances are that it is not anywhere near the value of time and energy you will spend looking at the choice. You will find, as I'm beginning to that ninety percent of the things I left to become a great debate in my head are not really worth having a debate at all. The unhealthy breakfast, buy the expensive sweater. Do what you want. Just stop being so indecisive about what it means.
